1. Route description, explanation of signs
A particularly long tour in the southern area of Lake Balaton with an elevation gain of almost 1000 metres.
The route runs mainly on low-traffic public roads, but is sufficiently varied with bike paths and forest trails.
The tour does not contain any unpaved roads and is therefore rideable all year round regardless of the weather conditions.
2. Difficulty factors in the tour
The stretch between Fonyód and Csisztafürdő runs on gravel and pebble paths, ride with extra caution.
The route crosses the main road 7 at Balatonboglár and Fonyód, please ride with extra caution there.
Drinking water sources are limited on the tour so make sure you head out carrying full water bottles.
