According to local legends, you can find miraculous water at the spring known as Szentkút, the name meaning holy well in Hungarian. Until 1917 the locals used to pilgrimage here on the Feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and probably hoped for the power of the miraculous water. Since then, however, the spring was forgotten and the legend also faded. By chance was the fountain discovered and today Szentkút, once famous for its unique water, has become a popular hiking destination.
