The Őrtorony lookout tower is standing on the Apáti Hill. The tower got its name from the fact that it was built next to the old Roman military road and its structure is reminiscent of the former watchtowers. From a height of more than 16 meters, you can embrace the view the inner parts of the peninsula, from the ancient lavender fields to the abbey, but you can also take a look in the opposite direction, where the view of Aszófő, Örvényes and Balatonfüred unfolds in the distance.
