The wine press house has been standing in the vineyard since 1820. It used to be the property of the Festetics family, and over time this cellar in Diás (the name of the village in the period) became the centre for pressing the juice of the grapes from the surrounding vineyards. When Mary Hamilton, the wife of Tasziló Festetics, first saw the building, she exclaimed that it had to be converted into a tavern, hence the name of the place. Even in the 21st century, the house has not completely lost its original purpose - today it houses an exhibition on the history of local viticulture and winemaking, where wine tasting is also possible after prior booking. There is also a restaurant and a children's activity room.
