Within the framework of the BalatonBike365 project, following the previously designated 1000 km continuous route network, a new addition has been introduced with the 400 km Adventure Round Tour, completely encircling Lake Balaton
Discover hidden villages, ascend to never-seen-before viewpoints, marvel at the beauty of the witness mountains while deviating from the usual path! In this 400-kilometer long tour, charted in both directions, encircling Lake Balaton, you'll encounter varying terrains, ranging from easier to more challenging sections.
The KK400 route is marked by a unified signaling system. Wondering where to start the loop? With the assistance of the BalatonBike365 network, you can easily connect from any lakeside settlement. If you prefer GPS-based navigation, download the BB365 app, providing seamless guidance throughout the journey.
While the tour touches upon tourist attractions farther from the shore, you won't completely miss the proximity of Lake Balaton, as the route occasionally returns to the lakeshore. The KK400 completion is facilitated by scanning 50 QR codes with your phone, enabling you to compete with yourself, friends, or fellow cyclists with precision down to seconds.
After registration and successful completion of each section, you'll receive a downloadable online certificate to share on social media. Additionally, you can personalize your collection of completed segments. Completing all 12 sections rewards you with a commemorative BB365 gift.
